Cellador Ales Akimbo - Blend 2
After more than a year we’re finally ready to release the second blend of Akimbo! This “table sour” is a blend of a low abv wild ale with a small portion of Berlinerish base. This second batch actually has fruit from the 2017 and 2016 Masumoto harvest, and the blend was transferred into 5 fresh California Chardonnay barrels this summer with whole Masumoto Gold Dust peaches. The components of this blend range in age from 6-15 months. We are really proud of this new blend and believe it has the perfect balance and complexity of the barrels, fruit, and hops.
