Stone Brewing Company is a craft brewery located in San Marcos, California. It was founded by beer lovers and brew masters, Greg Koch and Steve Wagner. The brewery’s first batch of Stone Pale Ale quickly became a hit in 1996. Its success was later followed by the popularity of Arrogant Bastard Ale created in 1997. The brewery later moved to Escondido, California for further expansion. In just a short time, Stone Brewing Company has become one of the most notable craft breweries in the region. By 2012, it was considered to be the 10^th largest craft brewery in the United States. There are over fifteen types of beers the brewery produces.
