    Widmer Brothers Brewing is an American microbrewery in Portland, Oregon. It was built by brothers Kurt and Robert Widmer in 1984. The brewery started out as a 40-barrel system brewing facility. Widmer Brothers Brewing incorporates wide range of hops and malt silos in the brewing process. Some of its notable beers are the Drifter Pale Ale, Drop Top Amber Red Ale, Hefeweizen Pale Wheat Ale and Nelson Imperial IPA. In 2007, Widmer Brothers Brewery merged with Redhook Ale Brewery to create a new brewing company that is now called Craft Brew Alliance. The brewery has also expanded to brewpubs and beers that make a perfect match up to great foods and music.
